Company founder Carl Frederik Nielsen opened a store in Belum, Denmark. After traveling around Europe, he bought a local forge, but soon realized that he needed to add new activities to grow his business. The production of cast iron was the first step towards the creation of a future engineering company, which today produces various mechanical briquetting presses.
