CF Nielsen now offers a new BPE Shimada extruder briquetting press to complement its range of mechanical briquetting presses. The press is equipped with a modern control system that provides Internet access. It is possible to monitor, control or troubleshoot and even reprogram the PLC function through an internet connection. All operating texts and error messages can be displayed in 16 languages. The log function is an important tool for analyzing and improving the briquetting process. Alternatively, a relay-based control panel can be supplied.

From waste to packaged briquettes

In February 2021, our team developed and installed a full-cycle briquetting line. The company has a lot of sawdust and different wood waste in different fractions. In order to achieve an even mass of timber for briquetting by packing briquettes on pallets, only a vibrating table, vibrating conveyors, chipper, several hoppers, a hammer mill, 2 RUF briquetting presses and a Strojplast packing machine are installed. Briquetting line capacity 1.4t / hour.

RUF Lignum R2

In November, we installed RUF Lignum R2 in Belarus, which automatically adjusts the required briquette size for the client. The press is designed to process wood waste.

What is the payback period?

Many factors are taken into account here: the volume of waste in production, its humidity. It will depend on this whether a line for preparing wet raw materials is needed or whether a briquetting zone is needed from dry. Approximate terms - from 0,5 year to 5 years.

How do I find the right briquetting machine?

We have many years of experience in briquetting which means that our experts are well-qualified to provide you with professional advice in choosing the right briquette press. We work with you to identify your individual requirements on the basis of the material in question and the production conditions. This then allows us to offer you custom-made briquetting machines or even complete briquetting solutions.

What is the best way to pack briquettes?

Several solutions are suitable for packaging: the standard use of plastic bags with a thermal knife seal. But with this type of packaging, the briquettes crumble during transportation. To reduce flaking, a heat-resistant film is used. In it, the briquette, due to the tight arrangement to each other, does not crumble.We offer solutions from Strojplast.

How do I find the right briquetting machine?

How is a test pressing done? Is it done free of charge?

Test pressing is done free of charge and without any obligation on your part, and is carried out in Technical Centre using your own material. At your request, you can be present at the test pressing. The results are important for the choice of the briquetting machine – for example, briquette thickness, residual moisture, durability to withstand handling, the amount of cooling lubricants recovered, etc.

How often should maintenance be performed?

The maintenance schedule is specified in the press operating instructions.
