Aspiration System at ECOPACK in Jelgava Region

Objective

To reduce the formation and accumulation of wood chips, sawdust, and wood dust at the woodworking facility, as well as to minimize their negative impact on employees’ health. To protect equipment from the deposition of fine particles in order to maintain efficiency and extend service life. To reduce fire hazards associated with the accumulation of dry wood dust and sawdust, and to ensure safe working conditions for personnel.

Solution

A modern aspiration system was installed. System configuration:

• bag filter mounted on metal supports with a concrete foundation. Capacity up to 16,000 m³/h. The design allows purified air to be returned back into the workshop;
• two fans with a power of 11 kW and a capacity of up to 8,000 m³/h each;
• galvanized air ducts with a smooth inner surface preventing dust accumulation.

• Low maintenance costs.

Design, equipment supply, air duct installation, electrical works, and commissioning were carried out on a turnkey basis by RMP specialists.
