RUF Briquetting Days 2026: Partnership, Technology and New Opportunities

To stay as close as possible to its customers worldwide, RUF has established an extensive international dealer network. As a result, equipment users receive qualified support at every stage — from the initial consultation and equipment purchase to service and maintenance throughout the entire operating life of their equipment.

To strengthen cooperation, the global leader in briquetting presses holds a major dealer meeting every four years at its headquarters in Zaisertshofen, Germany. This year’s event took place from 16 to 18 June and brought together almost 50 international RUF sales partners.

RUF Managing Director Roland Ruf explains why the company distributes its innovative briquetting presses worldwide through a network of sales partners: “As a medium-sized company with around 200 employees, we simply would not be able to fully meet our customers’ expectations on every continent without such a partner network.”

It is not just about selling equipment. Customers need professional advice in their own language — before, during and after the purchase. Equally important are a prompt response to repair requests, maintenance and service. All of this is particularly relevant for companies in the metalworking and woodworking industries, as well as businesses involved in recycling and processing.

Partnerships Built Over Many Years

RUF places great importance on its relationships with its dealers. Communication between partners around the world and the German RUF team is maintained continuously: telephone calls take place weekly and sometimes even daily. Regular face-to-face meetings help strengthen cooperation and provide a better understanding of each other’s needs.

“Of course, we meet our European colleagues more often than our partners from Asia, America, Australia or Africa,” says Roland Ruf. “But it is very important to me to know each of our partners personally. That is why, at least once every four years, we hold a multi-day dealer meeting here in Zaisertshofen.”

In June 2026, virtually all RUF sales partners accepted the invitation once again, including RMP.

A Family Atmosphere as Part of Global Success

Presentations of new developments, successful project stories, live equipment demonstrations, Q&A sessions and numerous professional discussions all formed part of the three-day RUF Briquetting Days programme.

However, the special atmosphere of the event was equally important. Despite its international scale, the meeting in Zaisertshofen had a relaxed, almost family-like atmosphere in which dealers, employees and company management felt equally comfortable.

For Roland Ruf, these personal relationships are one of the foundations of RUF’s international success:

“We fully understand how important our employees and sales partners are to us. We have been working with RMP for more than 20 years. Such relationships are only possible where there is mutual trust and a genuine personal connection.”

RUF Innovations — One of the Main Reasons to Meet in Person

“I always enjoy attending RUF events. They are a great opportunity to meet colleagues in person, exchange experience and discuss current issues. But what I find particularly interesting is learning about the new technical solutions and developments RUF is presenting this time and what we will be able to offer our customers in the Baltic countries,” says Elena Kozmenkova, Head of RMP.

According to her, over the years of cooperation there have almost always been new solutions of interest both to customers in the metalworking sector and to woodworking companies using RUF briquetting presses or equipment from its subsidiary C. F. Nielsen.

For this reason, the presentation of the new service portal attracted particular interest among the participants. The portal is expected to become available to both dealers and end users of briquetting presses by the end of 2026.

More Convenient for Dealers — Faster for End Customers

The new service portal is expected to significantly simplify the processing of service requests and reduce response and completion times. Ultimately, this will also benefit equipment users themselves.

Perhaps this is the key outcome of RUF Briquetting Days 2026: technology, international partnerships and personal relationships work together as one system — ensuring that end customers in every country can rely on high-quality RUF equipment and support throughout its entire operating life.
